The artwork of Heather Bink incorporates rich
colors and deep under tones with mystical illusion of shimmering
light. THis is accomplished by the additve-subtractive process
involving the disciplines of both painting and sill-screening
on silk. The surface of the cloth is manipulated to create an
under structure of texture, and the appearance of depth.
A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design,
she has been living in the charming city of Savannah, Georgia,
for more than a decade, Heather's inspirations reflect the city's
unique historic architecture, as well as the natural color palette
of the salt marsh and waterways in her own backyard.
